We store your audio settings and preferences locally on your device, including equalizer settings, volume levels, and selected audio modes. This data never leaves your device.

Microphone Permission

Heared requires microphone access to amplify and process audio in real-time. This permission is essential for the app to function. Audio captured through the microphone is processed instantly and is never recorded or stored. When you close the app or stop the amplification, all audio processing stops immediately.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Since most data is stored locally on your device and audio is processed in real-time without storage, your sensitive information remains under your control. Any data transmitted to our servers is encrypted using secure protocols.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

When you make an in-app purchase or subscribe to premium features, we receive limited purchase information from Apple to unlock features and provide support:

  • Transaction ID and receipt data
  • Product ID and subscription status (active, expired)
  • Purchase date and expiration date
  • Country/region

We use this information to deliver premium features, provide customer support, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate records. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple—we never receive your payment card details. Purchase records are retained as long as needed to provide service and comply with legal obligations. To manage or cancel subscriptions, use your App Store account settings.

Third-Party Services

Heared may use third-party services for analytics and crash reporting to improve app stability and performance. These services are:
